scred - Jawo, Dunkman | Style Manila, Manila Fashion Blog

When I stumbled upon this site, I can’t help but remember the requests made by guys who stopped by Style Manila. They were asking where they can find options for t-shirts and such that are unique to our country, Philippine-made.

I’ve already featured some and I hope to find more. To add onto the list is S^CRED Clothesline.

Like the two items seen on the image above, they design tees and hoodies that are inspired by the unofficial national sport, Basketball. On the left is the Jaworksi Tee, on print it says “7AWO LEGEND” cuz Jaworski was dubbed as the “living legend” in the sport. I’d like to explain it further but I’ll leave it to the basketball experts. Heh. And on the right is the DUNKMAN hoodie. The image is quite reminiscent of a Jordan thing, don’t you agree?

The former is priced at Php 249.00 and the latter, Php 399.00. Reasonable prices, I should say.

They’ve got a few more options on their product page, feel free to have a look.

Hi, Sasha! I love love love hoodies and am sooo glad that the Philippines has its home-grown styles. Is it cool enough to wear those? I seem to recall wearing sweatshirts over my school uniform when I lived in ‘pinas.

    Salut,
    Marjorie

If we talk about general weather, the country’s temperature is pretty much the same BUT there are instances that will excuse one to wear hoodies and/or sweatshirts cuz, for example, the past few nights has been rather cooler than normal, going up the mountains (like Tagaytay, Sagada or Baguio) can also be a reason and A/C in the offices, malls, cars, or planes will prompt some to need to wear something to shield off the cold.

I like hoodies, too! Check this out. :D

    Sasha,

Love the boots/jeans/hoodie combo! I might try that, although I fear that I may be..ahem..too old for that particular look. Where’d you get the boots?

    Salut,
    Marjorie

Thanks, Marjorie. Well, it’s always fun to experiment! I got the boots from Mango. :)
