If there’s one thing you can expect over next few months is the entry of all things in big blocks or panels of colour in clothes. During the Blogger Mixer, the guest of honour, Shai Coggins, came showcasing such style. Her dress is mostly in the purple hue, still quite evident are the horizontal panels in different colours — purple, lavander and brown. It’s a perfect example of what I’m trying to tell you, my dear fashionistas.
But to further illustrate my point, some fashion designers have showcased in their Spring fashion collection, hints of the blocked colour.

Abaeté, Veronique Branquinho and DKNY
If you want a bit more exotic feel to the look, instead of using blocks of colour, you can opt for the different panels of prints as seen on this Duro Olowu creation.

Ah, yes… How cool is that? I didn’t even know I was being trendy/fashionable when I bought that dress at Tiendesitas. Heh. Got it off a mannequin, no less. Haha. Anyway, nice to see the clothes comparison. Never would’ve thought of it.
Oh, and yes, if I had my normal selection of shoes with me, would’ve definitely chosen something else.
I can imagine different ways on how that dress will look on you! I hope I’d get to see photos.
