The Nokia Red & Black Party

Nokia 5310 Red & Black Party | Style Manila, Manila Fashion BlogStyle Manila hit the launch party of the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music, held last night at A. Venue Hall in Makati City.

I learned that this party was the Philippine counterpart of the recent Nokia launch event (for the same phone) held in Singapore early this month. Scoring an invite was a great opportunity to spot some fashionistas who are into that whole mobile phones thing. I actually found out about the Red and Black dress code an hour before heading to the event, good thing I was already planning on wearing black myself.

I’m totally impressed with the party atmosphere, wow-ed by the performers. Totally loved the lights. I reckon since it’s a music phone they’re introducing, might as well crunk it up club-style, yeah? The event was hosted by a fashionista himself, Tim Yap.

The Nokia models, like the girl featured, were wearing the official Red & Black ensemble, complete with the Xpress Music phone strapped on their beautiful necks. Lovely.

Some event photos after the fold.
