Jayvee Fernandez, I Got Game

The Philippines is known to be a t-shirt country. Of course! With the humidity and warm weather conditions, a shirt is a great clothing option. And since the Manila street fashion scene is more known to be leaning towards the casual look, it’s quite normal to see guys wearing t shirts instead of the dressier ones. Leaves less room for fashion statements, yeah? I couldn’t agree more.

What do these men turn to instead? Wear a killer pair of shoes, flattering and/or stylish pair of pants, and, yes, slogan shirts. Show me the shirt you wear and I’ll tell you who you are. LOL.

Jayvee is a geek through and through. No surprise with his choice of shirt design, eh? I’m sure there’s more to the “I Got Game” than he cares to let on. It’s the come-hither message to all you single women out there. Jayvee’s got game, both literally and not.

Markku Seguerra, Virgin pa ‘ko!

Now, it’s Rebelpixel’s Markku Seguerra’s turn with his “Virgin pa ‘ko!” shirt. As much as I want to write my thoughts down on the matter, I can’t. I’ll just leave you guys with this — Yes! It’s something HE would wear! That’s his advocacy, you see. LOL. (HUGS Markku!)

So, going back to my point, shirts are comfortable and common but can still be used as an expression of your own personality. Your style is a reflection of your personality, right? It’s a non-verbal way of introducing yourself.

I enjoy seeing personal styles of people I know. It somehow allows me to either know a different side of them or find assurance that I do know them. Know what I mean?
