I wish I could just hide under that hat forever. Something I wore earlier today, went to take care of some stuff over at the city hall. Apart from the top and the shoes, I bought the rest in Australia. And the bracelet was a gift from a friend from Canada who visited Manila.
It’s been raining. Literally and not. Gloomy, gloomy day.
Top: Solo
Cargo Pants: B Star, JayJays Adelaide
Shoes: Chuck Taylor
Hat: a shop on Bridge Road, Melbourne

Greetings! I found your blog while browsing through the Internet for info on the Philippine fashion scene. Love your outfit in this one. You have the physique that can pull off the gamine look easily. I especially love the shirt!
I’m an admirer of Chuck Taylor Converses, but unfortunately I can’t stand the fact that they offer no support whatsoever. I read a comment somewhere that “if your shoes are comfortable, they’re probably ugly.” I don’t necessarily subscribe to that, as I seek both comfort AND style.

jayjay’s is one store you cant miss! its everywhere! in every town, and city, malls and corners in australia and new zealand…style is very street, but got those lolita type stuff as well, very tropical kiwi/aussie chick, laidback, fun, and funky!
the sales there are AWESOME! everyday specials from nothing over $30 (aud, nzd)!!! crazy!!
check out www.jayjays.co.nz or .com.au whichever currency you prefer.
*i love your site*
Marjorie: I know what you mean about seeking both comfort and style, it’s quite normal. I’m comfortable wearing most of the clothes, shoes, and accessories I own. But we all know that the level of comfort and the kind of style differ from person to person.
Zhana: Glad to know you like Style Manila. I like JayJays and yea, it’s a shop that’s only available in NZ and Australia. I love their urban street flavour. I was even eyeing this bomber jacket then but I knew it was impractical for me to buy it since I do live in a tropical country.
