I went on a dinner-and-movie date with the boyfriend the week when the Catherine Zeta-Jones movie, No Reservations, was showing. We decided to hit Glorietta 4 in Makati since we haven’t been there for the longest time. When dinner was over and we still had time to kill, I dragged him on a short shopping trip. I had wanted to visit the shops that I used to go to a lot esp during the time when I lived in a condo in Salcedo Village and hung out and shopped in Greenbelt-Glorietta malls a lot.

Anyway.

On the 3rd level of Glorietta 4, I used to pass by this furniture store a lot. And that night, I spotted accessories and bags through the glass window and I was delightfully surprised. I didn’t pass up the chance of checking the place out so I went in and browsed through the items. I was generally impressed with the collection of fashion accessories like earrings and bracelets, purses, satchels and totes, and there were shoes! Mostly flats and sandals in patents and faux-leather.

The shop’s name is RIO and I came out of it owning a bohemian-inspired thong strap sandals that only costs teh boyfriend a Php 450.00 dent. Great deal, yeah? I’ll make sure to post a photo soon so you guys can check it out.

Now, why wouldn’t a girl be happy with how that night turned out? Dinner and a romantic movie with her special someone then add a mini-shopping trip and a new (don’t forget free!) pair of shoes to boot! That date sure tops the ranks, wouldn’t you agree?

Note to teh boyfriend: Can we do it again? Please?
