Make Fashion Not War, Vintage Fashion on Shirts

Who ever said that fashion can’t make political statements? Classic example is a twist given by My Fruit on the slogan ‘Make Love Not War’ then printed it on a t shirt. Why wouldn’t this idea sell here in our country? It’s brilliant, IMHO. We are a t-shirt country after all. I like how they even styled the shirt in some of the photos. They’re re-introducing the punk 80s look with their styling ideas.

How do you get the look?

Choose a shirt a couple of sizes bigger than yours.
Wear it over a tank top and a pair of leggings.
Make sure you knot up the shirt’s hem.
Wear Chucks! Oh, alright. You can wear flats instead.
Accessorise with bangles and hoop earrings.

Can you imagine how fun that would be? Of course, I’m talking about a styling idea applicable for women. But this shirt is also available for men. Actually, I’m looking forward to that moment when I see a guy surprise me with his own style rendition using this shirt.

“I Shot The DJ” is another slogan option you can consider. Both are available online at myfruit.multiply.com and are priced at only Php 350.00.
