Alexander in Black from The M Barretto Bag Collection

I saw this gorgeous bag during the Market Night at Mag:net Cafe in Bonifacio High Street last month. I believe I already told you guys about it, yeah?

It’s part of The M Barretto Bag Collection, christened Alexander and it looked fabulous in green but stunning in black and in red even! It actually comes in two sizes. One is big enough to be an overnight bag and the other size is similar to a Tote. The bigger size is priced at Php 2,000.00 and the smaller size at Php 1,500.00 (I hope I remember it correctly!). Sandy was so accommodating of my queries on the bag during the event. Had I not kept my impulses in check, I would’ve brought it home that night. But I had to keep myself from indulging my every shopping whim. Got to be practical sometimes, don’t you agree?

I’ve been on a hunt for that perfect bag, you see. I need something that’s suitable for the stuff I cram into the bag I use but, of course, I don’t want to sacrifice form though I need to put importance on function. As a solution, I’m looking for a significant balance between the two. Is this the bag that will satisfy this need? I’ll soon find out cuz it’s September. I wonder if they have it in Caramel. Hmmm.

According to Sandy’s site, Alexander will be available on the second week of this month. I’m now looking for a free schedule to visit The Reading Room real soon. I can’t wait to also try out Lanie’s Nail Art when I do.

The M BARRETTO Bag Collection is sold exclusively at Sandy’s shop at The READING ROOM, Shop #39, Cubao Expo (formerly The Marikina Shoe Expo), Araneta Center, Cubao (it’s behind the old Rustan’s, which is behind Shopwise, which is in front of the entrance of the Araneta Coliseum). Store hours are Tuesdays to Sundays, 1pm to 10pm, and Mondays 1pm to 6pm.
