Oh, yes. I went shoe shopping again. Goodness. I reckon I’m addicted. And I wasn’t even planning to buy a pair. I had originally planned to buy a top or two. LOL
Looks familiar? Well, I did buy a pair of Syrup shoes a couple of months back. You can read about it here:

Yes. I like the idea of suspense. Don’t you? Heehee.

Here’s another one of the unique personal styles that I’ve spotted during the Taste Asia event. It’s what I’d like to call Retro Urban. It certainly caught my eye and liked its eclectic flavour.
Meet Mixka aka exsanguinatrix, who sported a green collared top with funky prints in orange (which she told me she bought from Divisoria), straight-cut denims, headband accessory (which she said she got from GenSan or General Santos) and a pair of Chuck Taylors with printed laces. Cool, eh?
I love it when I see people explore and experiment. …

Silk Dress from Zara, Php 5,750.00
Patent Flat Shoes from Zara, Php 2,750.00
This ensemble is quite expensive, I know. But I was over at Zara and I had fallen in love with the Butterfly-print on the Silk Dress. Sigh. There’s something about Silk. It’s so luxurious. So sexy. If not for our outrageously humid and warm weather, I’d love to wear them on certain occasions. Er, you weren’t expecting that I’d say everyday, right? Dear me, you can only stock up on anything Silk up to a certain point. Gah. We …

Kai, a recent commenter, said that she liked the Zara shoes April was wearing on my Style Sighting post, Filipina Fashionistas Wear European Fashion and she had also wanted to know where the necklaces were bought. So, since I failed to note the latter, I thought I’d go and look around for something to make up for it.
And I found this.
This pair is somewhat similar to the one April was wearing. I reckon the main difference is the design print. This pair of Zara shoes is currently priced at Php …

Topshop is one of my absolute favourites. I have yet to amass a collection to include in my wardrobe, though. So, for you guys who share the same, I’m tipping you on all possible locations you can get your arse to and load up a chock-full of them drool-worthy pieces.

When I read the slogans on these shirts. They made me laugh out loud! I’ve been featuring slogan shirts over at Tops 2 Bottoms since, er, forever (I know, I know. Overstatement!) and have been looking for locally-made ones for quite sometime now. Thanks to Rick’s re-post, which talked about an event in Serendra and photos that featured a local brand of slogan shirts, PAKSHIRT.
What I was immediately drawn to was the somewhat unfinished look on the shirts piping or that collar part seen on the photo. I went ahead …

Yes. Style Manila graced the Taste Asia event held at SM Mall of Asia last Tuesday, 03 July 2007. It was a night filled with food, drinks, prizes and bloggers.
As usual, I was on the look out for stylish peeps, so, I can introduce you to some that may be called blogging geeks but will not fail to amaze you with their personal style. My eye was caught by this rock chick (lead guitarist of Borderline Virgins) who’s not afraid to be feminine in her well kept hairstyle and …

Don’t we just love shopping at a bargain? That’s why the Tiangge (flea market) form of retail is thriving, nay, flourishing in the Philippines. Don’t mistake that since products are seemingly sold in a flea market, it would mean that they’re old, second-hand or factory rejects. Not. At. All. You can actually find fashion gems in these small stores that are totally brand new and, sometimes, even one-of-a-kind.
During my last shopping spree, one of the shops I came across is sugaritta. I fell in love with this store’s interior. It’s …

I do love the fact that, most often than not, I’m armed with my DSLR whenever I go out. Even when I’m just having coffee at a cafĂ© located right across the street from where I crash and work, mind you, simply because I never fail at the chance of a photo op with stylish individuals I would encounter.
Meet best friends, Viv and April, two lovely ladies whose personal style I’d spotted as they grabbed the table right next to ours (my “sweet” boyfriend and I). They graciously agreed to …

Well, I’m thinking more on Makeups over anything else in this category.
Having worked as a Makeup Artist for several years now, I’ve always believed in the advantages it can bring to the person wearing it. Sure, it can be fussy and all that but it’s worth it if you’re going to look at it from this point of view I’m going to tell you.
There are times you need it and times that you don’t. But if we’re going to talk about what works best fashionably, there are things you need …
