Cole Vintage, Scarlet in Green

Cole VintageThis love-hate relationship that I seem to have with vintage is costing me money and opportunities, I tell you. Love because I do love certain fashion eras that I can only describe as oh-so-glamourous like the 20s and the 70s. Hate because there are certain pieces that I find so tacky and, yes, the idea of using something old and worn triggers the ick in me, hence, foregoing the purchase and missing out on certain styling opportunities. Also, can you imagine the cost of having it dry cleaned? Yet another cost and, not to mention, the hassle. Gah.

What a dilemma, eh?

So, anyway, in my vain effort to solve the dilemma, I settled for something new, influenced by the old, er, classic looks that I’ve grown to appreciate. Meet Scarlet by Cole Vintage. Yes, I’m stirring the coals of my fiery passionate love affair with dresses. Oh, no. Nothing you can do or say will ever keep me from my dresses. Ha. LOL.

Cole Vintage Scarlet in Green

The dress definitely reminds me of the 70s. I remember seeing photos of my mum wearing dresses similar to this. I love, love, love the leaf green colour and the printed soft, silky fabric that accents the hem and neckline. It’s so adorable!

The dress was priced at Php 1, 390.00 (around $31).

Marno and Scarlet are good friends now. They make Sasha deliriously happy. LOL. They debuted during the Blogger Bag event. They were joined by matte gold studs and statement ring I bought from a slowly becoming “suki” favourite accessory shop, Chick Flick that’s located in BF Ruins (I’ll probably tell you more about these little trinkets soon).

Cole Vintage dresses are available at the following locations:

3rd Floor, 50th Avenue, Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas

I reckon there’s one in TriNoma, too. And, yea, you can also order their stuff online, though. That is, you lack the time to go the conventional route.

I’d like to thank Wena of My Little Dress for telling me about MiaBella in Serendra because had she not told me about it, I wouldn’t have checked it out and bought my very own Scarlet. Egad. The mere thought of it!
