This has been in my file for a while now and I’ve been meaning to blog about it but you’ll hear the same old excuse from me, other more interesting things came up and, yea, work.
What am I talking about? Well, it’s Kamiseta’s Virtual Closet.
Though, it’s fun to mix and match tops, bottoms, bags and flip-flops, the options are limited. Not that I expected more from their line. I do have to admit that they’ve managed to capture a certain demographic and have other local brands mimicking their marketing and design approach but I still feel that there’s not too much “fun” involved. Their designs are too safe, though, I’ve noticed a few more details and prints here and there.
They update this portion of their website time and again, I reckon to showcase new pieces that are available in their stores. Anyway, to pass time, I tinkered around the site and played around the Virtual Closet. I reckon with what I’ve had to work with I can only manage to pick out an outfit that’s suitable for a casual day wear.
I like the idea of wearing the usual shirt and jeans with flip-flops on some days esp if I’m just going to run errands or hang out at a café or spend some time taking photos. This outfit doesn’t scream “fashionista!” but it sure is comfortable (plus points for Kamiseta!). I’ll probably just doll it up with accessories like earrings or perhaps I’ll wear Becky with it.
So, yea. The Virtual Closet will help you pick out a top or a bottom (or both) before heading out to their store to buy them. Pretty nifty idea, I should say.
