People are People

Oh, yes. I went shoe shopping again. Goodness. I reckon I’m addicted. And I wasn’t even planning to buy a pair. I had originally planned to buy a top or two. LOL

Syrup Shoe box

Looks familiar? Well, I did buy a pair of Syrup shoes a couple of months back. You can read about it here:

T2B Shopping: Syrup Marno in Gold

Open the Shoebox!

Yes. I like the idea of suspense. Don’t you? Heehee.

Meet Becky

There she is! Meet Becky! It’s Syrup’s Becky (yes that’s what they call this make), a quilt-patent peep-toe stilts in black.

I bought the pair for only Php 999.00 (around $21) over at People are People in Glorietta, Makati City.

Oh My Goodness. You sure do know how to buid up the suspense. It’s all worth it in the end. Seeing it up-close like that made all the difference :)

Yea, that’s why I make it a point of taking photos of the things I bought esp when I plan to feature it in my fashion blogs. If it looks this good, why the hell not, right? Love my shoes to bits. BTW, I like seeing the photos of all the fashion goodies you feature on your blog! Keep it up!

Sigh..as Carrie Bradshaw likes to greet her shoes, “Hello, lover!”

If I’d get my hands on a pair of Manolo Blahniks then I’d probably be uttering the same words!

    Thanks Sasha :) .

So, have you worn it yet? With what outfit? Pictures please..:D

    Impatient ba? Hehe

  • Sasha Manuel said:

Oh, as a matter of fact, I have! I wore it with an old off-shoulder top (from Australia) and skinny jeans. I was simply going to the mall to have lunch with friends and do some *secret* shopping and planning. Eeep. Not allowed to divulge! He’s going to kill me! I’ll try to take a photo when I wear it again!

woot woot :) nice shoes you bought :) it looks so expensive but not quite so :) galeng!

question lang, is it difficult to walk around in? kase i’ve been eye-ing the shoes at prp.. there was a sale before where a pair cost only 399php ata, but i was too scared it might do more damage to my uber-kawawa feet. thanks :)

  • Sasha Manuel said:

This pair is actually comfortable. The material is flexible and hugs the foot just right. However, if you’re not used to walking in stilts then I suggest a week of breaking the shoes in (or perhaps more, depends on adaptability). :)
Feel free to walk around in them before buying them. Don’t worry. They’ll let you. ;) :D
