PAKSHIRT: Filipino Humour on Shirts

PAKSHIRT | Photo by Rick Manzano of Project ManilaWhen I read the slogans on these shirts. They made me laugh out loud! I’ve been featuring slogan shirts over at Tops 2 Bottoms since, er, forever (I know, I know. Overstatement!) and have been looking for locally-made ones for quite sometime now. Thanks to Rick’s re-post, which talked about an event in Serendra and photos that featured a local brand of slogan shirts, PAKSHIRT.

What I was immediately drawn to was the somewhat unfinished look on the shirts piping or that collar part seen on the photo. I went ahead and checked their site out and, boy, was I impressed! You got to love the wittiness of the slogans, though, it’s the kind of humour that is only applicable to us Filipinos or, at least, to people who understand the language.

You can check out this brand of shirts at:

Habi Home
2nd Floor Serendra (above Guava Restaurant, facing Market Market)
Shops at Serendra, The Fort, Bonifacio Global City

They’ve got several collections or sets as options:

Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect from the brand:

PAKSHIRT | I Never Said That I Love You

In photo: “I NEVER said that I love you” is part of their Feelings Series.

Shirt prices start at Php 350.00. And their designs cater to both men and women, which I find really cool.
