Yes. Style Manila graced the Taste Asia event held at SM Mall of Asia last Tuesday, 03 July 2007. It was a night filled with food, drinks, prizes and bloggers.
As usual, I was on the look out for stylish peeps, so, I can introduce you to some that may be called blogging geeks but will not fail to amaze you with their personal style. My eye was caught by this rock chick (lead guitarist of Borderline Virgins) who’s not afraid to be feminine in her well kept hairstyle and colour, courtesy of Salon de Manila I hear, printed empire tunic and faded denim cut-offs. Tunics is one of the popular fashion pieces nowadays but the difference is on how she wore it. The over-all effect was dazzling especially with her hair!
We even got to talking about shopping a bit cuz she also keeps a shopping blog but the blog isn’t limited to fashion or beauty shopping and we also talked about the bangle she was wearing that night (I’m wishing now that I took a photo). The bangle was gorgeous! When asked where she got it, she told me it was a gift from her aunt. Darnit. Anyway, I’ll try to take a photo when I see her wearing it again.
