sugarittaDon’t we just love shopping at a bargain? That’s why the Tiangge (flea market) form of retail is thriving, nay, flourishing in the Philippines. Don’t mistake that since products are seemingly sold in a flea market, it would mean that they’re old, second-hand or factory rejects. Not. At. All. You can actually find fashion gems in these small stores that are totally brand new and, sometimes, even one-of-a-kind.

During my last shopping spree, one of the shops I came across is sugaritta. I fell in love with this store’s interior. It’s like a small walk-in closet complete with wallpapers. LOL. I love the fact that the owners didn’t simply rent out a small space to cut down on overhead since they also made sure that they’ll be presenting their clothes in their own unique way.

Moving on to the purchases I made that day.

Skinny Jeans with wrinkled effect

How I wore it

I know that you can hardly see the skinny jeans so I promise I’ll post another photo that will show it off. Hehe. Anyway, you can also see that I simply used a wide brown belt with the Mod Blouse to create a certain pizazz to the entire look that I was going for.

More thoughts:

“I like that it’s low-rise, stretchable denim, stonewashed and has that wrinkled effect. Saves the effort of having it pressed. LOL. Seriously, that last bit adds character to the skinny jeans.”T2B Shopping | Skinny Jeans from Sugaritta

“Sure, it looks plain enough but apart from the striped print, I particularly liked the “roll up” sleeve and hem and the misaligned front pockets. These accents created a masculine flavour and yet once worn a certain way, it’s so chic.”T2B Shopping: Striped Mod Blouse from Sugaritta

Hey, Lia! You can find it on the 2nd level, Alabang Town Center. Fifth Avenue, I think, it’s their tiangge area. :)

I’m not quite certain but if I get to visit the one in ATC again, I’ll try to remember to ask. :)

No worries. :) Actually, I didn’t list where I bought the belt in this post. I bought it in a store (somewhat) across sugaritta. :)
