Cosmetics, A Styling Suggestion

Vanity Kit | Makeup | Kikay KitWell, I’m thinking more on Makeups over anything else in this category.

Having worked as a Makeup Artist for several years now, I’ve always believed in the advantages it can bring to the person wearing it. Sure, it can be fussy and all that but it’s worth it if you’re going to look at it from this point of view I’m going to tell you.

There are times you need it and times that you don’t. But if we’re going to talk about what works best fashionably, there are things you need to look into.

There are DAYTIME and NIGHTTIME makeups. You have to really follow the rule if you don’t want to come out looking like a drag queen or a ghost, respectively, if you know what I mean.

I’d like to think makeup is a good accessory to the clothes I wear. Girls, you have to accept the fact that not everyone can look perfect unless you put some effort into it.

Here’s my view, if you want to wear something really fashionable, you have to pull it off perfectly and it does require makeup. Otherwise, you will look like someone who is just “trying hard” to look fashionable. But of course, you have to always think — moderation. If you are to go out in the Day, apply the rule for Daytime makeup and if it’s at night, apply the other. Never switch.

One other side rule for makeup that’s important you not forget is, if you’re wearing work clothes, put on conservative makeup not the way you wear it when you go out clubbing or something. I cringe at the thought. Unless you don’t want your colleagues, or your boss even, to take you seriously then, by all means, go ahead. Hehehe. ;)

And you can also head on over to Sophie’s Kikay Kits, for a closer look on makeup, kikay gadgets and all things kikay.

I agree on this one - the daytime and nighttime looks are very important, especially for women who want to be taken seriously any time of the day. I love the daytime look that can be transformed to nighttime look with just a few addition - very necessary for busy women like me.

Adding to that is the fact that you can do with hardly any makeup on. It’s better to take better care of your skin more than learning all the best techniques on how to “cover up”. If you can go with no makeup during daytime, do it. It’s good to let your skin rest too!

-Good skin is the perfect canvass for make-up. However, girls who look fabulous even without make-up deserve a cover shoot!

To add to your post, lipstick/lipgloss is really a girl’s bestfriend. Nothing is more scary than a pale look. ;)
