Update: Discontinued project

I’m starting the month of June with a new project here in Style Manila. And I’m calling it,

Brief Background
It’s actually inspired by my recent acquisition of the crocs™ Capri sandals. Offline, even before I got my own, I’ve been persuading friends to get a pair, too. I reckon this desire to get them to buy one started when Rico got his own pair of Scutes, the same day I fell in lust with the Capri. Because, soon after, I went on a campaign to get a pair, which only quieted down last week when I held my pair in my hands. Hehe.

At that time, I’d observed that there are a number of people who already own a pair — some even brought it to my attention. I also came across a few blog posts that talked about the crocs™ they own.

That’s when the idea started forming in my head.

The Project
It’s geared toward community building. It’s simply a way for us to celebrate owning a pair of crocs™. This will allow us to mingle with other crocs™ owners. We’re simply doing this for fun!

It’s going to be a online directory of sorts for people and their crocs™. I’ll be listing down names of people and the variant they own. I’m even planning to link to the posts where they’ve talked about their crocs™!

For the reader, it’ll be a fun way to get to know the brand and variant you might wish to own for yourself. I’m sure a lot of you might be wondering what’s so special about it.

For the owner, it’s a great way to showcase your footwear and have the opportunity to connect with other crocs™ wearing people!
