As promised, here’s my first style tip on how to use the fashion accessory, belt, to come up with certain looks.
The Belt Drape
By definition, it simply tells the wearer to “drape” the belt on the waist area.
How?
Loose enough that your hips keeps it from completely sliding down to the floor and tripping you as you walk. Heh.
When to use it?
Like seen on the photo, an example would be on skinny jeans. I recommend that the tops you’ll wear with it should be tight, not necessarily skimpy, just small enough not …

That’s Rico Mossesgeld wearing a classic Barong Tagalog, tailored specifically for the occasion.
I’ve been noticing how Filipinos digress from wearing the classic Philippine formal such as the Barong and would often choose to wear the coat and tie that the West has introduced to our society. Not that it’s all bad.
I just think that Filipinos have it made that we actually have something that we can truly call our own in terms of Philippine fashion. Women find it hard to dress themselves with Baro’t saya without being ridiculed. It has …

When you say some fashion item or accessory is still in fashion, you’ll find them selling like hotcakes and on most of the people you’d encounter. That’s IMHO, of course. Hehe.
On a recent trip to Puerto Galera, as I’ve already mentioned I would be taking, I find that one fashion accessory that’s still pretty big, even when it’s been around for almost two years, are the big sunnies, sometimes, fondly called the “bubuyog” shades (note: “bubuyog” translates to “bee”). I still had to pack for my beach thingie! And yea, work. Oh, dear.
I hope Eena won’t kill me. Eeep. Sorry.

I just got an SMS message —
Freeway (Elite Garments International), a local clothing brand, is currently raffling off an Island Resort Getaway. Shoppers only need to spend a minimum amount of Php 1,000.00 (around US$ 20) and they’ll get a chance to participate in or even win the raffle. I’m not quite sure if it’s a single purchase receipt or spread out purchases with multi-receipts. I reckon you guys should check posters or go visit a branch and ask for the mechanics of the raffle (and find out what exactly …

One of the best things about this country is its almost perfect beach weather. You almost can go to the beach anytime of the year, er, well — except when it’s monsoon season, anyway. Heh.
The water’s warm and clear, powder white shores and the sun bronzes your skin in all the right places — if you know how to properly bathe under the sun, that is. Hehe.
Of course, second in hierarchy when it comes to beach fashion is choosing the right pair of sunnies. Them oversized ones became all the …
